Smiley Face - Illustrator

Inspired by Mount and Blade: Warband, the sea raider portrayed as the "smiley" face wears a cracked nasal helmet over their typical nordic blond hair. I was also very inspired by the practice of heraldry throughout the medieval period for the sail of the ship shown in the image. Apart from the in game inspirations, the remaining parts of the sea raider are just stereotypes of the "vikings" to make the the character appeal more familiar to anyone viewing it who is not interested in Scandinavian history. The pen tool was the most employed asset of this project and allowed for the curves and the detail on the nasal helmet.
